After years of suffering with hernias I finally made the decision to deal with them. I researched what was involved and the consultants available to carry out the procedure. Mr Nathan Coombs was recommended by a friend and I knew after my initial consultation with him that I would be well looked after. I am pleased to say I was correct. My surgery was held earlier this year, everything went as planned and I am delighted with the results. He and his team are outstanding. Every communication with his office was answered in a timely manner, he was accessible for last minute questions, right up to the evening before and my appointments with both the Great Western Hospital and the Ridgeway Hospital were all pleasant, professional and safe environments. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Coombs.

It was the first time I had met this doctor, I was so impressed how he talked to me about my condition and how he would do the procedure later in the year when I had finished my chemotherapy. I came away from my appointment feeling very reassured and that gave me great comfort at this time, as I also have incurable blood cancer.

Mr Coombs was so so lovely. He made friendly conversation, really put me at ease during the appt and he was informative. He was also nice and apologetic about the slight waiting time at the beginning and mentioned it again at the end I think. It is also reassuring that I am able to have a scan booked in to double check everything is okay, even though from examination it seems to not be cause for concern hopefully. There is nothing for me to suggest for improvement. Thank you Mr Coombs.
